Author: Mr C

I attended the University of Leeds, where I completed his Diploma of higher education in Health Studies in 2011. In 2019, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science with first-class honours and I am hoping to complete my HCPC registration portfolio after securing tenure with Public Health Wales as Biomedical Support in Microbiology. My previous work experience includes undertaking training as an Adult Nurse in Leeds Teaching Hospitals. Shortly after graduating from my most recent degree, I spent some time working in the water industry as an environmental water quality analyst within the inorganic team. I am presently undertaking an MSc by distance in Ecotoxicology as I have an interest in the behaviour of pollutants on ecosystems and the organisms (mostly humans) that inhabit them. I hope to bring a wide variety of transferable analytical skills to my future role as an aspiring Biomedical Scientist. Another area of interest is microbiology and immunology and I am currently (In my own time) spending time monitoring research developments relating to covid-19
